Commercial Connection Ltd were commissioned by JCP Consulting Limited and TODD Architects Ltd. to help them convert the Danske Bank vault, which was effectively a small concrete bunker, into a state of the art training facility.

We started off by carrying out real time reverberation measurements in the existing vault which revealed horrendously high reverberation times across all frequencies, but due to the room geometry they were particularly bad at mid and low frequencies - in excess of six seconds at 250Hz.

In what was already a limited footprint, this was going to be a challenge.

As you can see from the fantastic finished pictures, the choice of Eomac Ltd. Topline Acoustic wall panels and the decorated Vogl Deckensysteme GmbH acoustic perforated ceiling plasterboard made all the difference.

The subtlety in which TODD Architects Ltd. fused these materials so successfully together is obvious for all to see.
